Although drinking alcohol at all can never be described as safe, these results point towards someone known as a lower risk drinker.
The alcohol consumption is within government guidelines and is unlikely to have a detrimental impact on a person’s health.
We don’t recommend taking any action and suggest continuing to drink, if at all, at this current rate.
Although you may feel that the ‘how much drinking is too much’ question doesn’t relate to you or your loved one, it is important to keep an eye on consumption.
The majority of people who have answered the above questions and fall into this category are known as social drinkers. They don’t necessarily use alcohol as a coping mechanism but do enjoy an occasional drink when with friends and family.
Low risk guidelines are the same for both men and women, with the government advising that you shouldn’t drink more than 14 units. That equates to six pints of beer or six glasses of wine. If you or the subject of this test fall under that threshold, great. Continue to keep an eye on the overall consumption in a bid to stay within the guidelines.
This category represents those who drink at potentially harmful levels and alcohol is more than likely already having a negative impact on their wellbeing.
